PRESS RELEASE
A Cost-effective DPM Solution
Newly Released XD Models of
Cino 2D Handheld Scanners
Cino is pleased to announce the XD model, a new member of the A680 and A780 series
of premium 2D handheld scanners, available in both corded and cordless versions. Powered by
Cino's AI-driven imaging technology, the XD model is designed to read ultra-high-density codes
and Direct Part Marking (DPM) codes for factory automation and other demanding applications.
Ultra-high-density Codes and DPM Codes Reading
Purpose-Built for DPM Reading
The XD model features a purpose-built reflection diffuser that minimizes glare from
reflective surfaces. Powered by an AI-driven DPM decoding algorithm, it enables fast and
reliable barcode decoding, even on challenging curved or recessed surfaces.
Inherit All the Features of Our 2D Scanners
The XD model inherits the advantages of our premium 2D scanners, offering superior durability with IP52 sealing, 1.8/2 m drop resistance, and the ability to withstand over 4,000 tumbles. For cordless applications, it supports both wireless charging and a battery-free solution, delivering greater reliability and enhanced convenience.
Wireless Charging Solution
By leveraging Qi technology, Cino's wireless charging solution delivers enhanced dependability and cost-effectiveness. Without physical charging contacts, it reduces the risk of damage, thereby lowering the total cost of ownership.
UltraCap™, a Battery-free Solution
The Cino battery-free solution is powered by the UltraCap™ capacitor, which is interchangeable with the Li-ion battery. Designed with ESG principles and environmental sustainability in mind, this alternative power source features a 3,150F capacity and is ideal for applications that require rapid charging to support a full shift of operation.
Exceptional Value
FuzzyScan DNA is a collection of value-added features available for every Cino imager at no extra
cost. These exclusive capabilities enhance the overall user experience and help address various
technical challenges that extend beyond barcode scanning.
